2009 Malaysia Premier League
The Premier League Malaysia 2009 was the sixteenth season of the Premier League Malaysia, Malaysia's second tier football league. It began in January 2009 and will have 14 teams playing for promotion to the recently expanded Super League Malaysia.
The following teams will participate:

* Harimau Muda
* Malacca FA
* Shahzan Muda FC
* PKNS FC
* Kuala Lumpur FA
* ATM FA
* Sinar Dimaja Mai Sarah FC²
* PBDKT T-Team FC²
* MBJB FC²
¹ - Relegated from Super League Malaysia
² - Promoted from National League Malaysia

*Harimau Muda is a national developmental football team restricted to playing in the Premier League, therefore they were not promoted. PBDKT T-Team FC and Johor FA were promoted instead.
